Wittenstein Foundation
The initiator of the foundation is Manfred Wittenstein. The purpose of the Wittenstein Foundation is to promote education and training as well as science and research. Its focus is on clarifying the interrelationships between people, technology, nature, and society, as well as clarifying the economic, technological, social, and ecological prerequisites for preserving the basis of life for future generations, and promoting understanding of the role of entrepreneurial activity in society.
Our approach to entrepreneurial activity is holistic.
It is part of our self-image to think and act beyond the boundaries of our family business. On the one hand, this involves local commitments such as the MINT Region Main-Tauber youth technology school or the WITTENSTEIN scholarship. On the other hand, it involves promoting cutting-edge research in future-oriented fields. Another area is our involvement in associations and organizations such as VDMA and Fraunhofer. Our intention is to create a healthy environment in which we can grow and thrive together.
